We’re excited to share that Untrendy Marketing founder Alexa Evans was recently featured in Florida Weekly for her leadership role as Event Chairperson of Lighthouse Goes Wild for the Holidays, a fully accessible celebration hosted by Lighthouse for the Blind of the Palm Beaches.
Held at Busch Wildlife Sanctuary, the event is designed for individuals who are blind or visually impaired and their families, offering hands-on, multi-sensory holiday experiences — from animal encounters to festive crafting stations.
As a Lighthouse board member, Alexa shared,
“At its heart, ‘Lighthouse Goes Wild for the Holidays’ is about inclusion. It’s important to build spaces where everyone present can participate fully, comfortably, and joyously. This effort doesn’t just make the experience more enjoyable for someone living with vision loss; when we take the time to understand and meet one person’s needs, our entire community benefits.”
We’re so proud to see Alexa’s passion for accessibility, connection, and community recognized in the press. To learn more or support the event, read the full article from Florida Weekly here.
